Theatre Conference JAMU 2025 focused on the theme: Art of experience. This conference continued the trend of not limiting itself to purely theatrical topics, but also looking at other topics that were more or less related to theatre. The conference included lectures of different kinds as well as workshops or masterclasses.
Strong personal experience is one of the essential sources of artistic creation. Practitioners of various fields are constantly looking for ways to transform personal experience through their work and share it as art. Theater Conference JAMU 2025 was a platform for the exchange of practices, insights and methods in work with personal experience in artistic creation.
The conference was attended by regular visitors, but this year for the first time also members of the community, who were accompanied by a facilitator. The community platform provided a dedicated, autonomous space tied to the conference but open for exploration. Members of the community explored the questions posed in a collaborative, creative environment, using methods like situational interactions, interpersonal dialogues, shared experiences, and artistic expressions to reflect on the conference themes in fresh and meaningful ways.
This book of proceedings is divided into two parts. The first part collects the records of lectures and performative lectures. Some of them had a traditional structure, others were more performative and even required active participation of the audience. The second part of the proceedings includes informative texts and photographs from two workshops and one guided tour of the exhibition in the Gallery U Dobrého pastýře.
